Abstract The food gap is one of the most important problems in Egypt, the limited amounts of milk production is considered as one of the critical factor contributing to this problem. It. was reported that the main causes leading to such problem is the shortage of animal fodder produced in Egypt annually. In recent years, the world has been arisen from the importance of the utilization of the organic residues, either field residues or food processing ones, for animal feeding. This importance has been highlighted as a result of two main reasons. Firstly:- The growing environmental concern that represented in the increasing quantity of the residues and their hazardous effects on the human being in particular and on the environment generally. Secondly;- The insufficient quantity of animal fodder which severely threats the animal production which led finally to increase the food gap in the world. This research aimed to: utilization of the organic residues for feeding the animals through an analytical mathematical model to formulate the optimum components of the suggested ration. |
