Abstract
A non healing ulcer or a chronic wound is one of the situations that is commonly, and almost daily, seen by most surgeons. Upon facing this situation, two questions come in mind:
(1) Is this wound for dressing or for surgical management?
(2) What is the best dressing that should be used to make it heal rapidly or before surgery to give the best surgical outcome if any?
