Abstract Testicular cancer is a highly treatable, often curable cancer that usually develops in young and middle-aged men between 15 and 35 years. Testicular cancer accounts for only 1% to 1.5% of male neoplasm. (Bosl et al., 2001) The incidence of this cancer has increased in whites during the 20th century but remained flat in African-Americans. Denmark has the highest incidence of testicular cancer; the far East has the lowest. The specific cause of testicular cancer is unknown, but various factors have been associated with an increased risk of this malignancy including prior testicular cancer, cryptorchidism, genetics klinefelter’s syndrome (47XXXY) and environmental exposure to various toxins.
