Abstract
Hemodialysis-induced hypotension is one of the most serious complications in renal replacement therapy (Ishibe and Peixoto, 2004). The pathogenesis and causes of Haemodialysis-induced hypotension are complex (Daugirdas ,1991). Pathophysiology of hemodialysis-induced hypotension:
A) Dialysis-dependent factors in intradialytic hypotension
1-Ultrafiltration
2-Autonomic reflexes
3-Osmolality decrease
4-Acetate buffer
5-Low dialysate calcium
6-Warm dialysate temperature
7-Membrane reaction
8-Air embolism
B) Dialysis-independent factors in intradialytic hypotension.
