Abstract Dilated cardiomyopathy is a disease of the myocardium and one of the leading causes of death in infants and children with heart diseases. In our study, we explored the contribution of increased Nitric oxide and TNF- on the pathogenesis and progression of DCM. 25 patients with DCM, and 20 apparently healthy age and sex matched controls, were included in this study. The DCM patients were divided into 2 groups, according to the presence or absence of pulmonary hypertension. |
