Abstract
The study included 60 Type 1 diabetic Egyptian children and adolescents of varying age group of the out-patient diabetic clinic. Ain Shams University. Their anthropometric and body indices values have been compared to age and sex matched Egyptian standards of the National Research Center.
All children and adolescents in this study, were subjected to :
1. Complete history taking as regards: Onset of diabetes, treatment received, dosage of insulin, preparation of insulin, duration of diabetes, family history of diabetes, history of complications associated or any other endocrinal diseases
