Abstract
The study was conducted at two maternal health centers ( MCHs) in sheben El kom .A purposive sample of pregnant women were attending the MCHs centers for the first clinic visit were selected. The sample of the study was randomly assignees into two groups, a trial group and a control group .This study was an experimental design. The basis for comparison of the two received the usual nutritional educational program. The results showed that the trial and the control group were comparable regarding sociodemographic data, menstrual history, the total score of pre nutritional knowledge assessment, blood pressure, and blood picture. Recommendation :- - conduct a study to assess the nutritional knowledge of the nurses working in maternal and child health centers. - conduct a study that explore the impact of previous knowledge and behavior on the pregnant women during pregnancy and their pregnancy outcome.
