Abstract

In the present work, the properties of self-flowing concrete which flow was>600 mm, containing fly ash, silica fume and high slag cemment were experimentally investagted and compared with those of ordinary concrete. For two types of self – compacting mixtures and one type of ordainary concrete mixture several tests , such as flow test , box test , t – 500 mm test and v – funnel test were carried out to obtain the properties of flowability and workability of fresh concrete.
The fracture behavior of plain and and reinforced concrete beam specimens under 3PB was investigated for SCC beams and conventional concrete beams. The effects of types of used coarse aggregates ( dolomite , aior cooled slag and gravel ) , crack – depth ratio and different areas of steel reinforcement
