المستخلص This thesis offers a designed Integrated System that will permit vessels to trasit safely through the Suez Canal avoiding collision and drounding in all weather conditions instead of being directed to anchor, thus keeping the canal operated at all times for ship trasits. This designed integrated system (SCINS) includes Differential Global Positioning System (VTMS). The combination of (DGPS) and LORAN-C systems would provide real-time (DGPS) corrections that could be used to calibrate the loran fix The addition of (VTMS) which can be fully integrated with the (DGPS) and LORAN-C systems provides significantcability for preserving system accuracy during periods of GPS outages, and ensures more complete information on maritime traffic situation. |
