Abstract The formation of water – in – crude oil emulsions is in the centre of several economic and environmental problems such as corrosion in petroleum pipelines and catalyst poisonous at the refiners. The main aim of this work is based on synthesis its thermal stability and to verify their hydrophile lipophatic moieties to increase its thermal stability and to verify their hydrophile lipophile blance (HLB). The present-work aimed to synthesize water soluble non-ionic surfactants from etherfication of some Schiff base monomers using polyethylene glycol and B,B- sdicholorodiethylether in presence of NaOH. Evaluation of the prepared surfactants, monomeric and polymeric blends, as demulsifies for crude oil emulsions is the main goal of the present work. |
