Abstract this work was carried out to isolate Camp ylobacter coil infection from chickens at small poultry processing shops in Alexandria province and from sheep and cattle at farms in ElBehera province, and analysis of whole cell protein profile. The results are summarized as follows: 1. Ten out of 125 examined chickens were positive for Camp ylobacter coil at a percentage of 8% including caecal, cloacal and gallbladder at percentage of 1.6, 5.6 and 0.8, respectively. 2. Two out of 96 examined cattle were positive for Camp ylobacter coil at a percentage of 2%. 3. Four out of 102 examined sheep were positive for Campyiobacter coii at a percentage of 3.9 2%. 4. SDS-PAGE revealed characteristic variable bands between Camp yiobacter coil and Camp yiobacterjejuni and within Camp ylobacter coil isolates which make it a possible method for differentiation of the whole cell protein profiles of all examined isolates dominated by the presence of 7 bands of molecular weight. 5. In vitro antimicrobial sensitivity test revealed that: • In case of chicken, neomycin gave the highest sensitivity against Campylobacter coil isolates (90%), but the isolates were resistant to tetracycline (90%) followed by |
