Abstract
The surgical microscope was used in a magnification of 6x, whill a magnifying loupe with a magnification of 4,5x or 5,5x .The use of the microscope allowed the use of multiple magnifications during the procedure. On the other hand the loupe was associated with better mobility for the surgeon especially during mobilization of both the graft and recipient arteries.In all of thesecases, the choice of the magnification was based on the surgeon`s experience.
