Abstract Thjwork was carried out to make serological investigations of some zoonotic diseases as brucellosis, fascioliasis, schistosomiasis and toxoplasmosis infecting both man and animals. 100 blood samples were collected from cattle (57 samples from Friesian breed and 43 from Charolais breed) and other 100 blood samples collected from human beings. All serum samples were examined serologically for the presence of Brucella, Fasciola, Schistosoma and Toxoplasma antibodies. The obtained results revealed the followings: 1. BRUCELLOSIS: Brucellosis among cattle. Serum samples were examined serologically by using TAT, BAPAT, RBPT, and Rivanol tests, and their results among cattle were at percentage of 8, 10, 11 and 7%, respectively. They were 8.77, 10.53, 10.53 and 8.77, respectively in Friesian breed. While, they were 6.68, 9.30, 10.63 and 4.65, respectively in Charolais breed. Brucellosis among human. Serum samples were examined serologically by using TAT, BAPAT, RBPT and Rivanol tests, and their results were at percentage of 6, 8. 8 and 5%, respectively. FASCIOL1ASIS: Fascioliasis among cattle. Serum samples were examined serologically by using THAT, and the incidence of Fasciola among overall cattle was 14%. In Friesian was 14.04%, while in |
