Abstract
Laboratoiy study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of four commercial chemical disinfectants (Cidixin , lodophore 200 Lysoformin® 3000 and TH4÷), in absence and presence of organic matter, which are available in the Egyption market against some fungi (Aspergillus niger , Aspergillus flavus , Penicillium and Candida albicans), responsible for common diseases in poultiy, its industries and egg hatcheries.
The obtained results revealed followings:
7.1 Cidixin
7.1.1 Effect of cidixin in the absence of a source of organic matter:
Cidixin at a concentration of 2.5% (the recommended concentration by the producer) had a lethal effect against Aspergillus flavus , Aspergillus niger , Penicillium and Candida albicans after exposure times 5, 10, 10 and 5 minutes respectively.
Cidixin at a concentration of 2% had a lethal effect against Aspergillus flavus , Aspergillus niger , Pen idilium and Candida albicans after exposure times 10 , 20 , 20 and 1 Ominutes respectively
