Abstract
This work aimed to search for the relationship between increased prevalence of diabetes mellitus and glucose intolerance in patients of chronic HCV infection. The study showed that there is a significant curve in about 12 patients of 40, half of them (6 patients) have frank diabetes. In conclusion, diabetes mellitus or glucose intolerance is more prevalent in patients with chronic HCV. (Author / FT).
