Abstract The study elucidated the effect of injection of kaolin suspension into the cisterna magna in cats in producing hydrocephalus. Cats were divided into two groups for study: (1) Control group 5 cats; (2) Hydrocephalic 15 cats. Brains of control group were considered to be normal by all criteria. Hydrocephalic group was studied for assessment of success of our experiments. Methods of assessment : (a) Clinical data; (b) Ventriculography; (c) Manometric study; (d) Ventricular size. |
