Abstract The present study was carried out in two experiments. riment I was conducted to investigate the quantitative qualitative difference in semen production among New 4fld White, Californian and Rex breeds of, rabbits. Six males from each breed of rabbits were used. They housed individually in separate pens of steel cages. Dughout the experimental period, rabbits were given a entrated diet consisted of 27 9 barely, 25 % wheat , 15 96 ground horse been, 1.5 96 bone meal and 0.5 96 n salt. Barseem hay was given ad libtum. Four semen iections were obtained, each of two consecutive culates. Semen samples were evaluated for different acteristics and the following results were obtained: Breed of rabbits had no significant effect on ejaculate volume, mass motility,dead sperm percentage, abnormal sperm percentage, sperm cell concentration and fructose H concentration. Ejaculation frequency (order) had highly significant effect on mass motility of sperms, dead sperm and abnormal sperm percentages. Ejaculate volume, sperm cell concentration and fructose concentration were not affected significantly by ejaculation frequency |
