Abstract
This study was conducted to study the helminth parasites of slaughtered sheep and goats in central abattoir of Mit-Ghamr and its related small abattoirs in Dakahlia Governorate during 12-months to determine the prevalence and seasonal dynamics of the helminth parasites in relation to susceptible age, sex of these animals and description of the recovered helminth parasites.
The present study was conducted on 88 sheep and 63 goats slaughtered in the central abattoir of Mit-Ghamr and its related small abattoirs in Dakahlia Governorate in Egypt during 12-month period to determine the prevalence of helminth parasites, their seasonal abundance, age and sex susceptibility of these animals to the infection, as well as description of the recovered helminth parasites.
