Abstract
This work aims to study some aspects of neurochemical lateralization in young and adult rats under normal and stressful conditions and detection of peripheral lateralization of the adrenal glands. The result of this study showed a central and peripheral neurochemical lateralization at different brain regions and supra-renal gland varies with gender , age circadian rhythm and exposure to stress. This will open the door for further study and investigations about the role of neurochemical lateralization on functional responses under normal and abnormal conditions.
