Abstract

Sharkia Governorate is an important area of Egypt because it include an important places, economically and scientifically as 10th of Ramadan City which is the biggest industrial city and the Nuclear Reactor of the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA). So that this study was conducted for isolation of some fungal bioremediators of the famous pollutants as some of heavy metals Mn2+ and Co+2 and some of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) as textile direct dyes (orange, pink, red and black)
Regarding the aim of this study, which was conducted for isolation of some fungal bioremediators and study the bioremediation efficiency in the most suitable conditions for a success to attain bioremediation process of some dangerous heavy metals and/or toxic, carcinogenic and mutagenic textile dyes, in addition to the biological pathways for the uptake of heavy metals and dyes accumulation and/or degradation and after finishing this study, it can be concluded that: The fungal microfolora of each polluted sites is best bioremediators for these sites. The bioremediation process using the good bioremediator in a suitable weather is the hope of the future and has a number of advantages as the low cost, can be occur under all conditions and in any places, low dangerousity, in addition the keeping of the important ecosystem balance, where no addition of other pollutants to the environment as which occur in the chemical methods. There are many fungal groups which can degrade and/or mineralize the textile dyes other than the white rot basidiomycetes as our tested fungal isolates. There are many circumastances which controlled the progress of the bioremediation process (in Egypt), so it needs to a continuously research in this field, to be fully studied. Restrict application of all laws which created for the environment protection specially in the industrial localities as 10th Ramadan city to reduce the pollution hazards.
