Abstract As the pace of economic expansion and population growth in arid regions increases, groundwater resources are becoming wagently needed more heavily as essential sources of water for agriculture. In current work, the soil samples had been irrigated with saline and treated water, this resulted in increasing salinity and concentration of soluble anions and cations. Salts tended to accumulate mainly in the surface layer of the soil followed by the deeper layers. The decrease in salt concentration on groundwater treatment in areas of the Eastern desert creates an approach to solve many unwanted problems as salinity. Our study will eliminate some, if not all, of these problems. The system suggests “a water conditioner” not softener neither filter. It improves the natural and chemical condition of water, by mechanical separation which reduces the negative effects of mineral particles on water. |
