Abstract This thesis contains the solutions of some boundary value problems in kinetic theory of gases. Inchapter (1) wemake a concise to the basic concepts in dynamics of rare field gases. In chapter (2) we study the Oscillation of an infinite plate in a strong rarefield gas consisting of homogeneous charged particles.The motion of the plate will cause the motion of the particles. In chapter (3) we discussed the behaviour of steady expansion, of a monatomic gas, into vacuum from a source with spherical symmetry under external field of forces (constant or variable); we found for a large distance from the source of expansion. In Chapter (4) we studied the time dependent expansion of a monatomic gas into vacuum from free Jet with spherical symmetry. |
