asses the prevalence of silent myocardial icchemia in diabetics
autonomic neuropathy after assesment of autonomic neuropathy by clinical tests. We found that 22 subjects from 40 diabetics é autonomic neuropathy having silent myocardial ischaemia and only 2 from another 40 diabetics without autonomic neuropathy having silent myocardial ischaemia. We noticed that there is a correlation between the duration of D.M and the signs and symptoms of autonomic neuropathy. A lso there is a correlation between silent myocardial ischaemia and autonomic neuropathy and no cerrelation between silent ischaemia and any of lipid profile as cholesterol, triglylerides L.D.L.0 and H.D.L.0 and H.D.L.0 / L.D.L.0 ratio We
