Abstract
Appendectomy is one of the most common operations performed by general surgeons however, the clinical diagnosis of acute appendicitis is not always correct .diagnostic laroscopy has been introduced as a new diagostic and therapeutic tool for suspected appendicitis in such group of patients we conducted a randomized study to assess the diagnostic accuracy,applicability,safety and efficacy of laparoscopy in patients,when the clinical diagosis of appendicitis is in doubt.
