Abstract Aims of the work: 1. Evaluation and assessment of group therapy training process. 2. Detection of outcome of the training process especially the change that happens to trainees as a result of training 3. Comparison of Minia group therapy training program with the psychotherapy training program in Exeter in United Kingdom to detect the similarities and differences between the two programs. Conclusion There were similar gains from the models of psychotherapy training in UK and in Minia regarding: 1. increased awareness of the patients reactions and feelings 2. improved the ability to think psychologically about the patients problems. 3. increased self awareness of the trainees 4. learning basic psychotherapeutic skills ( listening, patience and empathy) 5. increased interest and confidence in psychotherapy. |
