Abstract
IN order TO JUSTIFY these goals the following points were carried out.
1- initiation of callus cultures of three wild tomato species and one cultivar using different combinations of plant growth regulators (BA and IAA) by taking recent leaves as explants.
2- Estimation of callus ability to regenerate shoots at different combinations of plant growth regulatos (BA. IAA) for the four different genotypes.
3- determination the root formation efficiency of regenerated shoots at different BA and/or IAA concentrations for the four different genotypes.
4- detemination of DNA content of callus and regenerated root tip cells at different concentrations and combinations of plant growth regulators.
