Abstract

Effective and economic management of construction projects requires knowledgeable cooperation between all parties concerned throughout all stages of the process of design and construction. Engineers and accountants should be trained together in aspects of contract administration to break down the traditional differences between them in Egypt. Project management requires both technical and financial skills in close cooperation. It is time now to formulate a typical model of a contract for construction management consultation, to be used as a guide for clients. Concerned syndicates and interested parties should have an important role in setting up such matter. gestions For Future Work

(iii) Repair and improvement the financial structure of Egyptian construction companies.
(iv) Enlargement of the data base on construction projects and construction industry from others professionals (accountants, financial managers, quantity surveyors, architects, ... etc.).
(v) Make site measurements of the real.effect of each cause on the delay time of the project to detennine the accurate share of all parties of the pruject (contractor, consultant, owner) on the delay to consider it at the end of the project and to make records for the future use.
(vi) Researches into the causes uf project delays must take into account a variety of contingency variables such as the project stages in its life cycle . . Diagnosing Expert System (DES) well continuously being refined. Hopefully, it wiIJ ’noovative capabilities to the new generation of project-control system that are being delay in a construction project generates experience and expertise in recognizing and ing mistakes.
