Abstract
Tourism is the fastest growing industry at” the end of the zo” century .and the beginning of the 21 st. century. Tourism contributes greatly to the mutual understanding and respect between people and societies for the diversity of religious, philosophical and moral beliefs. Tourism is a factor of sustainable development including the safeguarding of the natural environment, rare and precious resources as well as the wild life with a view to achieving sound, continuous and sustainable economic growth. Tourism use the cultural heritage of mankind and contribute to its enhancement. Tourism means financial and economic benefits for the host communities and countries contributing to the common welfare of the host population. This research is based upon the hypothesis that there are possibilities for cooperation in the field of tourism between Egypt and Bulgaria. It aims at examination and comparison between the tourism markets in both countries based on their marketing mix, examination and comparison of the economic, social and ecological impact of the tourism development in Egypt and Bulgaria, and offering possibilities for tourism cooperation between them. The research lead to the conclusion that there is a shortage of tourism information between the two countries but many possibilities for fruitful cooperation in tourism field between them. This cooperation can greatly contribute to the mutual understanding and benefit as well as it can strengthen the good relationship between Egypt and Bulgaria.
