Abstract Aim of the work 1- Theoretical and clinically study of Ego state theory. 2- Study of its applications in various psychotherapy models, namely: individual, group, family and marital. Conclusion Ego state therapy is used successfully in the context of individual, family and group psychotherapy. Historically transactional analysis has developed as group treatment. However, the usual course is to begin with a structural analysis. In this respect, each individual patient in the group members, becomes a ware when of interpretation by the therapist or other group members, becomes a ware when he is thinking, feeling and behaving as a parent; when he is thinking, feeling and behaving as adult; and when he is thinking, feeling and behaving as a child. The diagnosis of different Ego states can made from the behavior of the individual, his attitudes and his gestures; etc… the voice of the patient is also important. It is well known that an individual has two or three different voices that he uses in different circumstances and awarness of this fact is needly made available to the patient. |
