Abstract Aim of the work The aim of the work is to verify the role of protein C and protein S during acute and chronic cardiac ischemic events. Conclusion It can be concluded that, protein C and protein S play an important role in thrombogenesis and prevention of thrombosis. Their mean levels were elevated in cases of unstable angina and lower in cases of acute in their levels in patients with chronic stable angina which mean that they play an important role in the occurrence of the thrombosis and in reaction to coagulation. This study recommends studying protein C and protein S in high persons for acute ischemic syndromes. |
