Conclusion Cirrhosis is associated with host dynamic and renal abnormalities. Sympathetic over-activity seems to play an important role in the pathophysiology of these changes. These abnormalities seem to be inter-related in vicious cycle manner. Therefore manipulation of any link in this pathophysiological chain may help to improve haemodynamic status and renal abnormalities in cirrhosis. |
