Abstract The main objective of this work is to investigate the possibility of replacing the conventional feedstuffs in the corn-soybean diets of broiler <starter and finisher ones by the unconventional feeds: Tomato seed meal, olive seed meal and Acacia leaves as sources of protein or energy under the local conditions of El-Arish, North Sinai Egypt. Two comparative feeding experiments were conducted on a total fO unsexed Lohmann broiler chicks one-day old at the Experimental farm of Animal Production Department, College of Environmental iltural Sciences, Suez Canal University, El-Arish-North Sinai, I during the years 1996-1997. Growth performance studies included 13 treatments in each study lrmine the more suitable level of tomato seed meal, olive seed meal and olive seed meal in the starter or finisher broiler chicken diets. four. |
