Abstract This thesis deals wi th a study of pressure effect on tbe mean film coefficient of beat transfer in case of air flowing inside a horizontal tube. A tbeoretical investigation bas been made to study tbe effect of physical properties on tbe air mean film coefficient of beat transfer at different pressures. An experimental .Det has been designed and cons¬tructed, in the heat transfer laboratory Alexandria Faculty of engineering,to verify the tberoretical study. The heart of tbe experimental work is a single tube inside tube heat exchanger witb a~r and water as working fluids.
