Abstract The frist experiment was carried out to study the response of three wheat cultivars namely, Giza 155, Sakha 69 and pavon(S), four nitrogen levels namely 25, 50, 75, and 100 kg N/feddan in addition to the unfertilized control treatment and three phosphorus levels namely 15, 30 and 45 kg p2 o5 /feddan in addition to the unfertilized control treatment on growth, Yield and yield components of wheat. A split plot design was applied in which varieties were arranged randomly in the main plot, nitrogen levels in the sub-plot, while phosphorus fertilization levels were allocated randomly in the sub-sub plots. The second experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of three seeding rates namely 25, 50 and 75 kg seeds/ feddan and three cultivars namely Giza 155, Sakha 69 and pavon (S) on growth, yield and yield components of wheat. A split-plot design was used in which the varieties were arranged randomly in the main plots while seeding rates were allocated randomly in sub plots. |
