Abstract The present study was executed during two successive seasons of 2003/2004 and 2004/2005 in a private farm at maghagha, minia governorate and in the laboratories of faculty of agriculture, minia university to investigate the response of coriander,(coriandrum sativum) plants to organic farming i.e. organic manures and biofertilizers in terms of vegetative growth traits, seed yield and volatile oil yield in comparison with the traditional farming (fertilizing with the recommended dose of mineral NPK fertilization). In this regard, two factors were examined the first factor (A) was two organic manures i.e. farmyard manure(FYM) and chicken manure each applied at 5,7.5 and 10 t /fed., while the second factor (B)was biofertilization in forms of biogein (biofertilizers containing N-fixing bacteria) Phosphorein (bioproduct containing P solublizing bacteria )and active dry yeast each used separately or in two mixtures (biogein+ Phosphorein and biogein + Phosphorein+ yeast).also the interaction between the two factors (AXB)was tested. |
