Abstract
In this study the seeds of two kidney bean (phaseolus vulgaris ) varies Belfin and nomad . The seed-coat of former is dark and the latter is white , cowepea (vigne unguiculata )variety 331, peas (psium sativum ) variety master B , and mungbean ( Vigna raduata L. ) variety Kawmy 1.The seeds of two kidney bean varieties and cowpea were obtained from Agricultural Research center , Horticulture Research Institute , Sids Research station (season 1995) The seeds of Master B were obtained from Malawy Research station (season 1996 ) while the seeds of mungbean were obtained from field crops Research Institute , sids Research station (season 1995) The results coud be summarized as follows
