Abstract
The present work has undertaken to study mainly the geochemical behaviour of lead in the western harbour of alexandria, a basin subiected to different pollution sources. As the system of this harbour is complicated, due to the influence of several factors on its physical, chemical and biological characteristics, some hydrochemical parameters (temperature, transparency, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen and chlorophy11-a) were determined for understanding their effects in changine the discrete forms of lead and their concentrations in the western Harbour.
