Abstract this thesis deals with the design and analysis of microwave (mw) nonlinear nl devices . the main objective of this thesis is to develop new programs using harmonic balanic (hb) methods and time domain methods in order to overcome the limitations of these methods and investigata accurately and efficiently the effects of both the elements of the nl device and the elements of circuit on the performance of nl devicessuch as nl amplifiers,nl oscillators,and nl mixers and also to gine a correct explanation for these effects in order to help the designer to understand actually the operation of these devices and to select the optimum values of devices and circuits parameters in order to get a better performance. new computer programs for the formulation of the state equations of rlcm and linear circuits is developed.these programs can be used as extension of the state-space approach program. |
