Abstract
The present experiments were deigned to investigate the responsiveness of
eleven barley genotypes to in vitro culture and establishment of reliable , routine and
efficient plant regeneration system somatic (immature inflorescences and immature embryos culture) and gametic (anther culture) cells were all used for callus induction
and plant regeneration furthermore , the transient genetic transformation protocol
suitable for barley using cell suspension cultures and mature embryos with
Agrobacterium tumefaciens- mediated transformation was characterized
