Abstract

the present study was carried out on certain insect pests of maize, sorghum and soybean under different intercropping systems .The most common system of intercropping is planting soybean under maize in attemate rows. This method gives advantages to thegrowers ; to increase their economic income per unit area . Intercropping can affect the micoclimaie of the agroecosystem and is highly relevant in the pest management strategy as it plays a very important role in the population dynamics of insect pest and their natural enemies.
