Abstract The use of ferroelectric triglycine sulphate (TGS) crystals which have a tors and in thermal imaging and do not depole. This crystal can be prepared by adding the isostructural admixture material to the TGS crystals. Single, crystals of triglycine sulphate were grown by slow evaporation method from aqeous solution containing the aminoacetic acid and sulphuric acid at stoichiometric ration. Sample in the form of rods 1x1x0.15 cm³ were cut from single crystals using wet string saw with edge parallel to the crystallgraphic axes. A Heraeous TA 500 is used to study thermal expansion coefficient and specific heat at constant pressure through the temperature range from 30 cº to 70 cº. |
