Abstract This experiment was conducted during the two summer seasons of 1994 and 1995 in the Agricultural Research Station at Mallawi, El-Minia, A.R.E. to study the effect of irrigation treatments and harvesting dates on growth, yield and yield components on some sesame varieties. A split-split plot design with four replications was used in both seasons. The main plots were randomly assigned to the two treatments irrigations (5 and 6 irrigations), the sub plots were devoted to the three harvesting dates (90,105 and 120 days from sowing ) and the sub-sub plots involved four varieties (Giza 32, Hybrid 117, N.A. 602 and B 51). |
