Abstract The present investigation was conducted at the experimental farm, faculty of Agriculture, Minia University during two successive summer seasons of 1999 and 2000 to study the effects of rates of nitrogen fertilizer (zero,30 and 60 kg N/fed) and number of collections (1,2 and 3 collections) on growth, yield and its components of two mungbean varieties [ Kawmy-1 and L.107]. The experimental design was split-split-plot with for replications the two varieties were randomly arranged in the main-plots, the three rates of nitrogen fertilizer were randomly distributed in the sub-plot. However, the sub- sub- plots were randomly assigned to number of collections. |
