Abstract
In ~his work ~he es~ima~ion of ~he s~ruc~ure~forma~ion have been carried ou~ ~hrogh ~he curve f’i~~ing procedure. The effec~ of ~he differen~ correc~ion parame~ers on ~he RDF
adjus~able parame~er has been reached.
The es~ima~ion of ~he s~ruc~ure informalion by curve fil~ing leads lo ~he following conclusion:
a) The area of lhe peak is more sensi~ive ~han i~s posi~ion ~o ~he fi~~ing procedure.
b) For resolved peaks. ~he bes~ goodness is achieved by ~he procedure ~ha~ fi~s ~he peak ~o four Gaussian func~ions.
c) In case of peak-overlapping. fi~~ing is applied for ~he lef~-hand side ~o ~wo Gaussian func~ions. with ~he image
applied successfully wi~h an accuracy comparable ~o ~ha~ of ~he four Gaussian procedure.
d) The worse fi~~ing is given by using one Gaussian func~ion wi~h or wi~hou~ reflec~ion-image.
e) In case of reflection-image. i~ is recommended ~o ~ake
in~o accounl. in addi~ion ~o ~he da~a of ~he lef~-hand side, da~a on ~he righ~-hand side wi~hin a range of abou~ 10% of ~he range from ~he s~ar~ poin~ ~o ~he peak posi~ion.
