Abstract
The selection studies of the present research were carried out at the field and greenhouse in side agricultural research experimental station in 1975-1977Seasons .The Original Population used in this study was h,53/519/63 which is generalized at upper Egypt region under the name of giza 4.seeds from the original population were sown on 3 meter long rows , row spacing of 60 cm. and Plant to plant spacing of 20 cm. sowing date was carried out at nov, 20 in 1975/1976 seasons in greenhouse as well as in field , the population was about 2000 plants in greenhouse and the double in the field the selection was carried out according to morphological traits,
