Abstract The aim of present thesis is to study the charge-transfer molecular complexes of quinoline derivatives with the electron complex of quinoline derivatives with the electron acceotors DDQ,TCNE and P-CHL.The study involves the theoretical as well as the experimental results for the electronic structure and spectra of the studied quinolines and electron acceptors The literature review revealed that the majority of published data is concerned with continuous phase Reynolds numbers higher than 4000.therefore, the present experimental apparatus is constructed in order to facilitate the study of bubbles movement in a continuous phase having Reynolds numbers lower than those previously reported. A laser technique incorporating phase/Doppler particle analyzer (p/DPA) was employed for determining the size of small bubble and its rising velocity.simultaneously.for large bubble size, aphotographing technique was used to obtain the bubble properties. |
