The research investigated the effect of five independent variables on common stocks prices movement. The results of study supported the existence of positive relationship between annual earnings announcements and common stocks prices movement. The study partially supported the existence of: 1-Positive relationship between annual cash dividend announcements and common stocks prices movement. 2 - Positive intra industry transfer of annual cash dividend information. 3- Positive intra industry transfer of annual cash dividend information. Finally, the study found no significant interaction effect between annual earnings and cash dividend announcements in affecting common stocks prices movement.
