Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the bacteria implicated in gastrointestinal disorders in patients hospitalized in the Gastroenterology center, Mansoura University. Special emphasis was laid upon:
(i) Study correlation between bacteria isolated, and age and sex of patients (cases).
(ii) The investigation of the resistance and susceptibility of the isolated organisms to the various available antibiotics.
