Abstract
The soil samples were collected from four locations three of which are in Beni-suef governorate (EL-fogaaie island, Beni-suef (1)and Beni-suef (2). The fourth location was EL-Arish.
Two pot experiment were conducted in sids experiment station in 1988 and 1989. such experiment plot (pot) was 1.5 Kg of soil. Corn was the plan used in these experiments in the first experiment the effect of boron deficiency on corn yield was studied five different concentrations of boron (Boric acid ) were used (0.0,1.5,3.0,4.5 and 6.0ppm) in each plot.
In the second experiment the effect of nitrogen deficiency on corn yield was studied five different levels of nitrogen (ammonium nitrate ) was used (0.0,30,60,90,and 120kg n/fed were applied.
