Abstract
The present study was carried out on the soils of Beni suef governorate to investigate the status of potassium and its relations with some macro-nutrients such as ca and Mg.Representative soil profiles were choser to cover the whole area . the different forms of potassium were determined . Their distribution with depth in the different locations was examined . Relations between the different forms of potassium and the determined soil properties were discussed .also, the relation between potassium and Ca +Mg were discussed.
